Bosch in Korea manufactures and markets automotive original equipment and aftermarket products, industrial automation and mobile products, power tools and accessories as well as security technology. Bosch which started business in Korea 1972 opened a Seoul office in 1985. Bosch companies in Korea are Robert Bosch Korea Ltd. Bosch Electrical Drives Co., Ltd., Bosch Rexroth Korea Ltd., ETAS Korea Co., Ltd., Doowon Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (60% Doowon Group), KEFICO Corporation (50% Hyundai Motor Group) and SB LiMotive (50% Samsung SDI). Bosch in Korea, including its joint ventures, employs about 3,600 associates. Bosch has a strong R&D presence in Korea with more than 300 engineers in research and development and its Technical Center with state of the testing and application facilities. The Bosch Group's sales in Korea had 2.220 trillion Korean Won in fiscal 2010.

Consumer Goods and Building Technology Bosch Korea operates in the Power Tools, Thermotechnology, Household Appliances and Security Systems divisions.
