Bosch · Bosch Rexroth presenting various products as a one-stop supplier and smart connectivity solutions for marine and offshore industries

Yongin/Busan – Bosch, a leading global supplier of technology and services, participates in International Marine, Shipbuilding, Offshore, Oil & Gas exhibition, KORMARINE 2017 which is held in Busan BEXCO from October 24th to October 27th. Robert Bosch Korea and Bosch Rexroth Korea jointly participate in this 20th KORMARINE presenting various products as a one-stop supplier for marine and offshore industries and the smart and connectivity solutions along with the current trend of 4th industrial revolution.

Smart and connectivity solutions for marine and offshore industries

A4VSO + Sensor from Bosch Rexroth is with monitoring sensors attached on so that the status of the pumps can be monitored and allows pre-maintenance. Based on the IoT Gateway software, it is possible for example to collect sensor and controller data, transmits it to cloud applications, and enables data analysis. IndraControl XM2201 control hardware, developed to efficiently control these cutting edge hydraulic systems, is for example used for motion control tasks to regulate electric, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic drives and is for use on marine and offshore installations even under extreme ambient conditions. Also, IndraDrive ML electric drive for marine applications can be used as a main power inverter or as a motor inverter. This modular inverter covers a power range from 110 kW to up to 4 MW.

Bosch offers the system for preventing collisions at sea using radar sensor, which is derived from the technology applied to the rails, and the system for monitoring the maritime transport assets using connectivity hardware sensing technology like asset monitoring for railway applications(AMRA).

Land & Marine camera, MIC 7000 from Bosch is designed using the latest technology in intelligent imaging and video streaming. Thanks to the intelligent coding and Content-Based Imaging Technology (CBIT), the HD module delivers high resolution video even under challenging light conditions at very low bit rates.

Presenting various products as a one-stop supplier for marine and offshore industries

Components for vessel drive and emission: Bosch is credited its quality with supplying injectors, pumps, and nozzles which are the core parts of medium and high speed marine diesel engine to prominent marine diesel engine manufacturing companies. Also, Bosch provides selective catalytic reduction systems(SCR), the device to reduce nitrogen oxide, which satisfy the maritime environmental regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Public Address: The Bosch Praesideo combined public address and emergency sound system is the foremost solution for situations where a fast response, absolute message clarity and unquestionable reliability are called for. Based on these technologies, Bosch has significant performances on offshore structures and cruise lines.

Electric grinder: Bosch electric grinder is equipped with 2400W champion motor which gives powerful and stable output and robustness. Also, its vibe-reduction device reduces 50% of tiredness while working. Especially, its kick-back control function which detects the jam of disc and immediately stops the grinder and restart protection function increase user safety.

Various marine system solutions: Bosch Rexroth also presents various marine system solutions during the fair such as Continuous jacking system(CJS) which is based on innovative lifting functions, in which 48 hydraulic cylinders directed by a digital control work together seamlessly, Active heave compensation system, and the hydraulic technology for ocean depths, which help increase energy efficiency and reduce the cost.

The booth of Bosch and Bosch Rexroth at KORMARINE 2017 will be located in 4L03/09 in hall 4 on the first floor of the second exhibition hall at BEXCO.
